The following officers are eligible for membership:


1. All serving commissioned officers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, both Regular and Territorial Army.

2. All retired commissioned officers of the antecedent Regiments of the Highland and Lowland Brigades, both Regular and Territorial Army.

3. All other Officers not being eligible for election under the above paragraphs, including officers of ACF or CCF, may be invited to join on the recommendation of a member of the committee and subject to approval by the committee. All such members will be expected to pay annual subscriptions.

Welcome to the Highland & Lowland Brigades' Club

The aims of the club is to advance the interests of its members, who will be serving and retired members of the Royal Regiment of Scotland and its antecedent Regiments in the Highland and Lowland Brigades. It will foster good comradeship by promoting sporting, adventurous and social activities among its members and through Club competitions and against other organisations.

The Highland and Lowland Brigades Club has three primary sporting activities. Curling, Cricket and Golf, are all enthusiastically played with a full calendar of events throughout the year. The HLB Club will also assist with grants for sports clubs and individuals in the furtherance of the aims of the club.

Within this site you will have access to all the main sports activities secretaries along with the latest news and reports on matches and members sporting endeavours as well as notices and reports on those the club has supported with grants and sponsorship.

Also you will be able to view the latest club notices and announcements from the AGM minutes to the clubs financial accounts. For further details, plus on how to join, can be acquired from the club secretary.

Grants
Members of the club are entitled to bid for grants in furtherance of the aims of the club. Requests for grants for club sports shall be made to the Treasurer in advance of the AGM and approved at the meeting.
Individual grants may be requested at any time and should be forwarded to the Treasurer who will process such requests and obtain approval of at least one other committee member. These grants will be ratified at the AGM.
